To young to have a Girlfriend

I have a twelve year old, and I found out a week ago that an 11 year old girl ask him out. Last Monday he tells me , "mom I want to show you a picture of my girlfriend" What!!!!..
I said, what do you mean your girlfriend? your too young to have a girlfriend.
I was hoping he was joking with me, but no, he show me a picture of a young girl, he tells me her name.

He ask me, so do you think she is pretty? All I can tell him was, tell me your joking, tell me you are joking. He told me that she ask him out, she wears nice sneakers and she is good in basketball. I was speechless for a minute. This is my first born. I am not ready for this. I told him that I will talk to him in the afternoon, and for now to please concentrated on class work. I didn't want him to lower his grades. Since I have class on Monday nights, I couldn't have the talk with him.

Tuesday morning before school I woke him up and ask him about his friend. we had a short conversation, and I told him that its ok to have a crush in Elementary, but I remind him that he will be going to middle school next year and he needs to concentrate on his grade and to make sure he is accepted in the Middle School basketball team. I'am clueless on how to handle the situation, his only twelve and I know that they are just kids, but I guess I don't understand since he is no young. when I was twelve I was still playing with Barbie, and boys were the last thing on my mind. I'am just keeping an eye on him, and when I see him texting to much, I just take the phone away and tell him to go play outside..cant wait for the school year to end.

Some TLC for my home

I am always changing things around in my home. Since I have a small pantry and my groceries list are pretty big. I had the idea to change the pantry where the laundry is at and move my laundry room to the garage. IT will work perfecto!! my laundry room is inside my kitchen and I find it ridicules that they would even design a home with a laundry room in the kitchen and make a small pantry. Can you imagine the laundry in my home having a family of 5.. So I started this project like 3 weeks ago, and Its been a mess in my home, but fun at the same time. Can’t wait to finish!! The laundry-room has been moved, all I need to do is set up an area where I can hang the clothes. I will just probably leave everything in hangers out there and they can just come and find their clothes. Jijijiji why not? Since I haven’t decided how I want it set up I started working on my new pantry. I finish painting it last night . I decided to make it fun looking so I made a chevron wall. I cant wait for the final result. If I can I will post picture.

Feeling excited

I cant wait for my mini vacation,I never been in a cruises and i will be for the firt time taking a cruise to the bahamas. I will be kid free and husband free. Everyone ask me how i was able to manage that, to get away for 4 days with no kids and husband. I dont know but i did it.Do i feel guilty? the answer is NO. I dont understand why people make a big deal when a marry women takes a vacation with her friends. people sometimes make me feel guilty or like a bad mother, but then I say to my self, this people must not know whats to have a real relationship. They probably dont trust their partner or their partner dont trust them. dont get me wrong I dont take trip with my friends all the time. I am a very dedicated mom and wife, but the opportunity came up. I firts discuss the pland with my spouse and WALA, trip has been booked.

So what's a girl to do?

This coming semester is going to make me pull my hair out, I can already tell. I just started a new job 6 months ago that I love. When registration time came around I was decided to sign up for only 8 credits, but with the grant that I have I need to take at least 12 credits. which that means going to school full time. I will be working full time and going to school fulltime. I'll be honest, I am a little worried. I' am not the best student and on top of working and going to school full time I am a mother and a wife, I have three boys and they keep me busy.

I work Monday through Friday and the 2 days that I have off its catching up on homework cleaning the house. Doing the laundry its my nightmare, imagine how much laundry I have to do, when I have three boys and a husband that works as a barber and his clothes just piles up daily. When Monday comes around I am all beat-up. So what's a girl to do? How am I going to handle this?.

Thank god I have a good support team, my mom helps me out with the kids in the afternoon, until my husband arrives at 7:00pm. He takes over for the rest of the night. My evening classes start at 6:00pm to 9:50pm, so by the time I get home everyone is sleeping and I am so drain that all I can do is check on my kids jump in the shower and sweet-dreams. I cant wait for graduation day.

feeling positive

While on spring break, I was planning not to come back to school. Last semester was very stressful, I almost quit, but the break was much needed. Today is my first day back to college, and I am feeling positive, I know this semester will be better. I wish I was home with my kids and husband but I need to continue with my education. almost done and I cant wait. I been working in the financial field for the past 15 years and I really need a change. I work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, and after work I come straight to school until 9:50pm. I am super busy, to come home and check on my kids homework, not that I don't trust my husband, but mom knows better. :). Sometimes I ask my self how do I do it. How do I find the energy to work full time , full time school, a mom of three boys and a wife. its not easy, but is possible.I do add a lot on my plate, but I cant just seat around a do nothing. its very important to find time for your self, I always try to find time to have my girls nite-out at least 1 time a month, and date nite with my husband.
